"If you wake up every morning, thinking 'how can I make money today', you loose money! But if you wake up thinking, "what problems can I solve today", you make money!"
Instead of asking Google or Quora what business can I do to make money in Nigeria or what type of business can I start with 100k in Nigeria?, ask yourself what business can I help people to get what they want or what business can I do to make money in Nigeria?
Let me tell you a certain story of Jonathan whose fingers was burnt.
The Question Jonathan Asked Stock Columnist Costed him
Jonathan went to the vendor and picked up a local newspaper. And he glanced through till he came across one of the columns that interested him on Stock To Watch.
Then he called the stock columnist and asked him what stock I could invest in that could make me N3 million.
So the columnist gave him 6 stocks to pick it himself. But out of his greed, Jonathan asked him again, please tell me which of the six stocks are best that could make me N3million.
Then the columnist told him to buy hot two stocks out of the six stocks. And Jonathan did it out of his excitation. He bought two stocks with N200,000 each at N7 and N10 per share separately.
But a few days later that day, Jonathan curiously noticed how far the two stocks were he bought by reading it in the local business newspaper on the Stock Market Report.
But to his shock, share prices of the two stocks had fallen down to N3 and N5. He did not believe it. So he called the columnist and asked him what happened to these stocks and why its share prices depreciated quickly.
But he was told not to worry about it and convinced of the soon recovery in a few weeks. But worse than that, he tried to call the columnist as he saw share prices of the picked stocks still went down.
And as soon as he found that the columnist’s phone was switched off, he was desperate and worried, blaming him for the responsibility for his losses
This story is a lesson to each of you who care to read this because it compares with the question you ask Google or Quora what business can I start with 100k.
Jonathan lost 400k worth he invested in stocks because he asked what stock I could invest in that could make me N3 million.
How can Jonathan ask what stock I can invest in that can make me N3million when he knew nothing about two companies'products, financial annual report he invested in ?
How can he ask which of the six stocks when he did not study to know what the stock market was and how it worked or knew about financial analysis, political policies, monetary policy, etc?
Knowing what happened to stocks and why their shares prices crushed helped the smart stock columnist escap from being gotten his fingers burnt.
He was more knowable about the risk of the stock market than Jonathan because he was well trained. This story is the same way you ask Google or Quora a question.
How can you ask what business can I start with 100k when you know nothing about competition advantage, business expansion, FMCG wholesaling products, where to buy and what to buy and what not to buy, customer psychology, marketing trends, financial recording, business management, marketing strategies, customer service, staff management, etc?
The question you ask Google or Quora shows you lack confidence, lack passion, lack vision , lack knowledge about or lack reading culture on business, etc.
Understand that every stock has its own risk, so every business has its own risk. If you want to enter the world of entrepreneurship or business, you must be a good solider of knowledge and you must be a good risk taker.
Never canvass people, asking what business can I start with 80k, 250k, 100k, etc. Ask inside yourself what business I can do to succeed in Nigeria.
Let me give you an example of a story in the old testament of 2 Kings 4: 1-7 on the widow and prophet Elisha in the following conversation:
Cried Widow: Your servant, my late husband, feared the LORD, but his creditor came and threatened me to take my two sons to his slaves if I don't settle my husband's debt to him.
Prophet Elisha: Woman, what shall I do for you? Tell me what have you in the house?
Cried Widow: Prophet Elisha, I have nothing in the house except a jar of oil.
Prophet Elisha: Woman, go outside to borrow more vessels from all your neighbors and empty them with cleaning water.
Then go in and shut the door yourself and your sons. After that, pour into all these vessels. When one is full, set it aside
Widow: (a few hours later she asked the man of God again) Man of God, I did it as you told me so. What shall I do?
Prophet Elisha: Widow, go and sell the oil to people. Then pay your debts. And you and your sons can live on the rest.
Dear readers, you need to train your mind to see an opportunity in every problem. You need to ask inside yourself in thought what business can I do to start with.
"You can't reach your destiny taking another man's road. He who never walks except where he sees another man's tracks will make no new discoveries."(J.M.Mason).
Prophet Elisha is a good example every small business blogger, business coach and church pastor should follow instead.
You see that He helped the widow to identify what thing she had in the house she could start witt no capital. Then he taught her how to borrow for business.
And he taught her how to sell well. I am happy that he helped her out of poverty or debt through training her on business.
Now, the question you ask Google or Quora what business can I start with 100k means you want to imitate if people tell you what business you can start with 100k, etc.

As the lady saw how the lady succeeded in business. Then she said, "Congratulation, sis. I have 100k. Pls how can I start the business. What business can I start with 100k".
You see this? It shows that she has no sense even when she was educated because she wanted to imitate her foot. What if her business collapses if she follows her foot in imitation?
What if she did not know about business plan or feasibility study if she follows her foot because she wanted same as her? Did she know why the Nigerian lady started the business with N100k.
That woman must be mindful well. She should ask herself in deep thoughts instead of asking her to help choose which business is best profitable.
Her mind must be lazy because she is thinkless. She must be thinkful. Did she not have brainpower, mental capacity and potentials God gave her? Why ask Google or Quora what business can I can start with 100k?
In truth, as Jonathan lost everything because he asked the columnist what stock I can invest in that makes me N3m, so you will lose everything if you ask the Google or Quora what business can I start with 100k.
It does not guarantee your success if you ask the Google or Quora what type of business I can start with 50k, 100k, 250lk, etc because you have no faith.
Case Study: How Samuel Moved From His Poor Cassette-dobbing Business to Successful Printing/Copier Business He knew Nothing.
Let me share with you this true story briefly:
Samuel Gordon, the former cassettes-dubbing business owner, never knew much about printing/ copier business because he himself was not a computer engineer. He did not ask his wife what type of business he could start with N24,500.
He asked himself what he could do for him and his family since his cassette-dobbing business seemed not wavered or swayed since.
When he tried to think or imagine himself what type of business he could do for himself, Samuel's eyes was opened by to see what he could put his hand into another business that could yield financial returns through his wife who offered him when she saw why people still bothered her when they know that they (Samuel and his wife) did not have photocopy service on their own shop.

This is a good example you should try to copy him. Reading about business interviews, business strategies, entrepreneurship success, success factors, marketing tips, attending a seminar help you decide which business you want to start with what you have and make money every day.
It is simple instead of asking people on Google or Quora to help you choose any business they may know nothing about. They are not responsible in case that your business suddenly fall behind.
The best thing you can succeed in business is yourself to decide which business or what business you can start with 100k as if you have faith.
